AML Policy
Anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing controls for Connxects P2P, marketplace, ConnectNow, and wallet operations.
Identity verification
Users must provide truthful account information. P2P traders and marketplace resellers may need to upload a passport, national ID, or driving license and select their country before trading, selling, withdrawing, or increasing limits.
Sanctions and PEP screening
Connxects should screen users, counterparties, wallet addresses, countries, and high-risk activity against sanctions, politically exposed person, adverse media, and internal risk lists.
Source of funds and source of assets
Connxects may request receipts, payment evidence, business details, source-of-funds explanations, gift card ownership proof, or other records before approving trades, listings, payouts, or withdrawals.
P2P security deposit
Every P2P trader must place a refundable 500 USDT security deposit before trading. If no compliance hold, dispute, chargeback, fraud review, or open investigation exists, the deposit can be withdrawn 7 days after the trader's last P2P trade.
Transaction monitoring
Connxects should monitor trade velocity, repeated counterparties, mismatched names, off-platform settlement attempts, suspicious wallet flows, duplicate gift card evidence, unusual login patterns, and rapid deposit-withdrawal behavior.
Restricted activity
Money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, stolen goods, unauthorized account sales, fake documents, third-party payment abuse, mule activity, fraud, threats, and attempts to bypass controls are prohibited.
Reports and cooperation
Connxects may freeze activity, reject transactions, close accounts, file required reports, and cooperate with regulators, law enforcement, wallet providers, banks, KYC vendors, and blockchain analytics providers.
